The 36 ground radials for the Butternut HF9V amateur radio antenna have finally been installed, and the coax has been run in the buried electrical conduit. Now I can finally use the antenna!

Saturday, October 30, 2010

Saturday, September 11, 2010
The new Butternut HF9V amateur radio antenna is now installed, and I've connected a temporary coax transmission wire, but the antenna doesn't have any ground radials yet, so it won't be very efficient. Since we have decided to re-sod the yard with Zoysia, I'm waiting until the existing grass gets removed until I put the radials in.

For those that don't recognize the t-shirt, it's Rock-Paper-Scissors-Lizard-Spock.
